Cherrywood ES Fall 2024 After-School Program

WELLSPRING K12 is a nonprofit education cooperative dedicated to providing immersive Chinese language and cultural education opportunities to students beyond school.

This year, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Chinese immersion after-school program for students at Cherrywood Elementary School. With a passion for providing enriching educational experiences, our program offers a unique opportunity for your children to extend their language and cultural immersion, through engaging activities, dedicated instructors, and a supportive learning environment. We provide personalized Chinese learning and homework support as well as supplemental Math practice in a Chinese immersion environment. 

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SCHEDULE (subject to change)

Grade 1 to Grade 5

Regular Day Schedule:

14:30 – 15:00  Arrival, feelings check-ins, snack time & indoor play

15:00 – 16:30  Chinese immersion homework support

16:30 – 16:50  Indoor/Outdoor play

16:50 – 17:30  Singapore Math/homework support (continued)

17:30 – 18:00  Free play & parents pick up

Early Dismissal Day Schedule:

13:00 – 14:30  Arrival, feelings check-ins, snack time & indoor play

14:30 – 16:00  Chinese immersion homework support

16:00 – 16:40  Indoor/Outdoor play

16:40 – 17:30  Singapore Math/homework support (continued)

17:30 – 18:00  Free play & parents pick up

Note: schedule and activity details are subject to changes due to daily planning and student needs. 

Holidays and No-Service Days

WELLSPRING K12 will be CLOSED and DOES NOT provide services in the following days:  

• September 2, 2024 (Mon): Labor Day

• September 18, 2024 (Wed): Professional Development, no school

• October 7 - 11, 2024 (Mon - Fri): Fall Break

• November 11, 2024 (Mon): Veterans Day

• November 25 - 29, 2024 (Mon - Fri): Thanksgiving Break

• December 23, 2024 - January 3, 2025 (Mon - Fri): Winter Break

FEES

Tuition Fees

Grade 1 - 5 

• 5 days/week (Mon - Fri): $775 per month

• 4 days/week (any four days): $705 per month

Kindergarten: Call for discussion

Note 1: Fees only include school days (including early dismissal days). Due to on-site facility limitations, WELLSPRING K12 does not provide services during “no school” days (e.g., staff development days, parent-teacher conference days, holidays, and breaks).

Note 2: Referral discount: get a one-time $50 off for every referral.

Other Fees

●  Registration fee: all new families will be required to submit a yearly, non-refundable registration fee of $100.

●  Late pick up: $1/minute after 6:05pm

Important payment policy

●  Monthly fees are due by the 3rd day of each month. A $50 late fee will be charged for a late payment. 

●  If you would like to withdraw your student from WELLSPRING K12, please submit a written notice (via email or paper form) 15 school days in advance.

●  Fees will not be refunded for absent days (e.g., sick days, family vacations, etc.)

●  We reserve the right to combine different grade levels in one classroom.
